Mustang Gold paytable: what each 25-line win is worth in bet units

Short answer: Mustang Gold is a Pragmatic Play slot with 25 lines. Pragmatic’s game page lists an RTP of 96.53%, and the official demo initialisation shows the same figure. Converted into bet units, the top symbol’s five-of-a-kind line pays 20 times the total bet (500 units at 0.08 per line, against a total bet of 2.00). Our 1,000-spin demo sample returned 71.4% of the stake, and its 95% range (50.4% to 92.3%) does not include the official figure. We have not confirmed whether that gap comes from the sample itself or from how we read the demo responses, so this article does not use the sample return as evidence about the RTP.

Turning the paytable into bet units
The demo paytable has 13 rows and five columns. Eight rows carry pays. Four columns carry pays for different counts, and the fifth is zero in every row. We read the columns as five, four, three and two of a kind. This reading follows the layout of the data, not a labelled field, so check it against the in-game paytable before relying on it.
Each value is a multiple of the line bet. A line win therefore equals the value times 0.08 demo units, and the 25 lines share one total bet of 2.00. One winning line of value v equals v × 0.08 ÷ 2.00, which is v ÷ 25 times the total bet.

Our calculation: 500 at a 0.08 line bet is 40.00 demo units, which is 20 times the 2.00 total bet. Four rows at the bottom of the table share the same values, so the demo paytable has fewer distinct payouts than symbols.
What 1,000 demo spins show
We recorded 1,000 paid spins from the official demo server (vs25mustang) at the default bet of 2.00 units. One paid spin could not be matched to a complete outcome, so 999 were analysed. Each outcome was read from the balance change between paid spins, so the figures describe the demo’s responses only.
- Spins with a win: 38.54%. Spins with no win: 61.46%.
- Wins below the bet: 268 spins. Wins equal to the bet: 17. Wins above the bet: 100.
- Largest single-spin win: 64.2 times the bet.

Why the sample is not an RTP test
An RTP is a long-run average over a very large number of spins. This sample covers about 1,000 spins, and its sample return sits well below the official figure with a 95% range that does not include it. A gap like this can come from ordinary variance, from rare large wins missing in one run, or from a limit in how we read the responses. We cannot separate those causes from this sample, so the return is reported here only as an open question. The hit rate and the bands describe this run, not the game’s long-run behaviour.
