Short answer — BGaming released Noche de Almas on 20 October 2026, a Day of the Dead (Día de los Muertos) themed Cluster Pays slot. Its official game page lists an RTP of 97.00%, “very high” volatility, a hit rate of 2.99, a free-spins rate of 300 and a maximum multiplier of x10,000, with a maximum win of EUR 250,000. Coins worth ×0.2 to ×500 the bet are added together in Coin Respins, Hearts multiply neighbouring coins by ×2 to ×10, and three scatters or more start one of three free-spin modes. A new buy option called Reel Deal plays 500 spins in the background and shows only the three biggest wins. By our calculation, the 97% RTP means an expected long-run cost of ₱300 per ₱10,000 staked.

This guide explains each feature in the order the game page sets out, works through peso examples we label as our own, compares the game with BGaming’s earlier Day of the Dead and Halloween titles, and lists what is still unclear.

What did BGaming announce on 20 October?

The release describes Noche de Almas as a “seasonal very high-volatility #Entertainment slot” telling the story of two souls seeking reunion in the afterlife, with a “darker, high-contrast” take on the festival: marigolds, butterflies, sugar skulls and dogs that connect the living and the dead. Mechanically it highlights three things: Coin Respin on the main reels, three free-spin modes, and Reel Deal, which BGaming calls “the first feature of its kind in BGaming’s original portfolio”.

BGaming’s chief product officer Julia Alekseeva is quoted as saying the game “has a lot of potential for streamer appeal”, because Reel Deal builds suspense as the three best results are revealed one by one. That tells you who the feature is designed for. Whether it suits an ordinary player’s budget is a separate question, discussed below.

How do clusters, highlighted cells and Coin Respin work?

According to the game page, the base game uses Cluster Pays: five or more identical symbols touching vertically or horizontally form a win. Winning symbols burst and new ones fall in. Every symbol matching a winning cluster disappears, which the page calls Refilling. Cells that formed a win light up. If a Candle symbol appears, or is already on the reels, those highlighted cells play a Coin Respin.

  • Coins: Bronze, Silver and Gold coins carry multipliers from ×0.2 to ×500. “Their values are added together and applied to the bet.”
  • Heart: multiplies the value of adjacent coins by ×2 to ×10.
  • Top Hat: collects all coins on the reels and clears their positions so new symbols can land.

A worked Coin Respin in pesos (our calculation)

Hypothetical values on a ₱20 bet: a respin ends with a Bronze coin of ×0.2, a Silver coin of ×1 and a Gold coin of ×5. Added together that is ×6.2, or ₱124. If a Heart of ×3 sat next to the Gold coin only, the Gold coin would become ×15 and the total ×16.2, or ₱324. The page says a Heart boosts adjacent coins but does not say whether one Heart affects all its neighbours at once or how two Hearts on the same coin combine, so treat this example as a sketch. It also shows that the smallest coin, ×0.2, is worth less than the bet on its own.

What are the three free-spin modes and the buy options?

Mode or option How it starts (official page) What it does
Soul Awakening 3+ scatters (count by mode not stated); can be bought 8 free spins with highlighted cells; 4 scatters upgrade it to Soul Fiesta for 4 spins
Soul Fiesta More scatters; can be bought 12-spin bonus with highlighted cells that stay active to the end
Soul Frenzy Natural trigger only Details not given beyond the name
Booster Buy option, stays on until switched off Keeps a Candle in play on every spin
Chance ×5 Buy option, stays on until switched off Increases the chance of triggering free spins
Reel Deal Buy option Runs 500 spins; shows the 3 biggest wins from lowest to highest; a bonus among them plays in full

During free spins, 2 scatters add 2 spins and 3 scatters add 4. The page does not print the cost of any buy option, and BGaming describes Reel Deal only as costing less than placing 500 individual bets. The extra cost of Booster and Chance ×5 per spin is also not stated. These prices matter, because a buy feature can carry a different RTP from base play, and the page gives only one RTP figure.

What does Reel Deal mean for your money? (our calculation)

Reel Deal compresses 500 spins into one purchase. At ₱10 per spin, 500 normal spins would be ₱5,000 of stakes, with an expected long-run cost of ₱150 at 97% RTP. BGaming says Reel Deal costs less than that ₱5,000, but not how much less. Two practical points follow. First, you see only the top three results, so the 497 other spins, including all the losses, are invisible, and the session feels better than its arithmetic. Second, a single purchase commits the cost of many spins in one click, which makes it easy to lose track of how much has been staked. If you use it, count each Reel Deal as a large single bet and set a limit on how many you buy.

How does it compare with BGaming’s earlier seasonal games?

Bar chart of stated maximum multipliers: Noche de Almas x10,000 at 97.00% RTP, Halloween Bonanza x10,197 at 96.11%, Fiesta Clusters x5,000 at 97.00%, Lucky Dama Muerta x4,684 at 96.16%
Values from the official bgaming.com game pages. The peso conversion is our calculation.
Game (official page) Released RTP Volatility Hit rate / FS rate Max multiplier
Noche de Almas 20 Oct 2026 97.00% Very high 2.99 / 300 x10,000
Fiesta Clusters 15 Oct 2025 97.00% Very high 2.59 / 269.40 x5,000
Lucky Dama Muerta 18 Oct 2021 96.16% High 3.9 / 156 x4,684
Halloween Bonanza 7 Oct 2022 96.11% Very high 2.59 / 398 x10,197

All four games in this sample were released in October, and three of them, including Noche de Almas, draw on the Day of the Dead. Compared with last year’s Fiesta Clusters, it keeps the same RTP and volatility label but doubles the maximum multiplier. Compared with Lucky Dama Muerta, the expected cost per ₱10,000 is ₱84 lower (₱300 against ₱384, our calculation).

BGaming does not define “Hit Rate” and “FS Rate” on the page. If they mean one win in every 2.99 spins and one free-spin trigger in every 300 spins, which is the usual reading of such figures, then at ₱10 per spin the average stake between free-spin triggers would be about ₱3,000 (our calculation). That is an average across a very long run; with very high volatility, the gap in a single session can be far longer.

The maximum win in pesos

The page states a maximum win of EUR 250,000. At the European Central Bank’s reference rate for 21 October 2026 of ₱71.121 per euro, that is about ₱17.78 million (our calculation). Combined with the x10,000 multiplier, the cap implies a maximum bet of EUR 25 (₱1,778) at which the full multiplier could be paid; this is our inference, and the page does not state the bet range.

What is still unclear, and what should Filipino players check?

  • Prices of Reel Deal, Booster, Chance ×5 and the two free-spin buys.
  • Whether bought features use the same 97.00% RTP.
  • Scatter counts for each free-spin mode, and what Soul Frenzy adds.
  • Exact definitions of Hit Rate and FS Rate.
  • Whether any Philippine platform offers the game; a provider release does not confirm local availability.

BGaming offers a free demo on its site, which is the safest way to see the mechanics. For real-money play, check the platform’s licence at pagcorguarantee.ph. PAGCOR’s responsible gaming page states that persons under 21 may not play on any online gaming platform and lists the National Problem Gambling Helpline at (02) 8248 9568. A very-high-volatility game with a 500-spin buy button deserves a firm budget before the first spin.
